Day-by-Day Itinerary
Nairobi to Maasai Mara
Depart Nairobi early via the Rift Valley escarpment, arriving in the Maasai Mara in time for lunch. Settle in, then head out for an afternoon game drive.
Full Day Game Drives
Morning and afternoon game drives across the Mara's plains, tracking lion, cheetah, elephant, and (seasonally) the Great Migration's river crossings at the Mara/Talek rivers.
Maasai Village & Optional Balloon Safari
Early risers can take an optional sunrise hot air balloon safari with a bush breakfast on landing. Later, visit a local Maasai village to learn about their culture and traditions, followed by an evening game drive.
Full Day in the Mara Triangle
Explore the less-crowded Mara Triangle on the reserve's western side for big cat sightings and wide-open savannah photography, with a picnic lunch out in the bush.
Maasai Mara to Nairobi
Final sunrise game drive, then breakfast and the return drive to Nairobi, arriving in the afternoon.
